Now this is an interesting pitch: Conquer your fear with wine. I guess it's hard to dispute that after a certain quantity of wine, you may be able to conquer your fears. But the real question is, is the wine good?
The answer is yes! Darron has put his expert nose to the stuff and says it's a real winner. Now you don't have to fear weak swill or morning regret, and conquering those cursed demons is a victory worth crowing about.
Sometimes the name says it all. In this case, not so much. Trash Panda is a small-batch creation ginned up by the brewmeisters at Arkansas's own Lost Forty Brewing. It's a high ABV IPA with lots of hops and lots of hazzzzzzzzzze. If you try to look through Trash Panda, you may find that Trash Panda is looking through you instead. Come pick some up, because the batches are small, and the availability won't last long!
Sorry for the snafu: Last week's storm temporarily shut down our ability to take credit cards. Never fear, power and credit card processing has been fully restored.
Also, today's eclipse sure made it seem like evening, right? And when it's evening, it's time to go home from work, right? So head home early and pick up some great products from Boulevard... USING A CREDIT CARD!
Check it out. We've got a great August special for you. Every Thursday through Saturday, with any purchase of a 30 pack of beer, we'll give you a free bag of ice. Let that sink in. Cold beer. Cold ice. Hot deal.
Good morning, sunshine.
It's a weekend. No work. Congratulations, you're already off to a good start.
Head to the kitchen and open the fridge. Eggs? Check. Bacon? Check. Need some more starch. How about pancakes? Great.
But there's something missing to really make this brunch complete. Aha, there in the fridge you see it: spicy, delicious, Collins bloody mary mix.
Lucky for you, you also picked up Square One vodka in both the regular and cucumber varieties from Boulevard. On sale, too. Normally $34.99, you grabbed these bad boys for $24.99. Well done.
It's a cucumber day. Add mix to the vodka and ice, and voila, you have the perfect accompaniment to your meal.
Zima is back. What strange things are wrought by time.
In 1993, Zima was momentarily a cool option to replace wine coolers, which had gone out of style. (By the way, weird to think of an era where wine coolers were in style, right?) Almost immediately, the backlash to Zima was stronger than the trend. David Letterman made fun of it. It got a reputation as a "girly" drink. And people complained it wasn't any good.
Looking back, Zima looks quaint next to some of the stuff they pass off now as alternatives to beer and wine. Zima was replaced by Smirnoff Ice and that gang, followed by Four Loko and Sparks, and who knows what foul nonsense is next.
But if you want to relive 1993 and throw a Zima party, now you can. It's $8.99 at Boulevard. And even though it's of questionable coolness, it's actually not bad-tasting at all.
Two intriguing fruit-infused IPAs join the Boulevard lineup. These are not your ordinary fruity beers. Take the hoppy, higher-ABV IPA concept, introduce bitter grapefruit and tropical pineapple, and finish off with master brewmeister technique, and you have an outstanding beer. Beer Advocate gives Scuplin, the mother ship that gave birth to these offshoots, a "world-class" 97 rating. Dedicate yourself to the craft.
Here at Boulevard, we always try to anticipate the needs of our customers. One problem you may not realize you have is that your beer opening process is decidedly uncute. We can help. Come pick up one of these Beerzilla bottle openers, and let one these lovable rascals accompany you as you open a Heineken or crafty. Admire the craftsmanship of these charming critters as you tip that bottle back. Problem solved!
